I got the chance to make them
They taste good!
All the wisdom I gained in making them has been put into this revised recipe. Please use this one in future.
Note that I substituted 1/2 an egg for 1 tablespoon cornstarch. The eggs in the fridge are ancient and the cornstarch was cheaper, per unit, to buy than eggs. I recommend you make this change too unless you really want to keep to the original recipe.
I also made a double batch, but I've adjusted everything in the recipe to account for a single batch.
I wanted to take a picture of the cookies, but my incompetent parents lost the digital camera, so you'll have to settle for a raytracing I whipped up in about ten minutes, maybe five.
Revisions will be made to the other recipes as and when I get the chance to make them.
